The Role: Driver (Operations Department)
As a Driver at RwandAir Catering, you are a vital link in the supply chain. You aren't just driving a vehicle; you are ensuring that thousands of passengers receive their meals fresh and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Driving: Operate high-loader trucks and vans within the airport ramp area.
- Aircraft Approach: Perform correct and safe aircraft approaches assisted by loaders.
- Maintenance & Hygiene: Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure catering trucks meet strict hygiene standards.
- Safety First: Adhere to rigorous Ramp Safety and Security requirements on the tarmac.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation regarding vehicle status and timely reporting of any incidents or technical faults.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for candidates who are physically fit, technically capable, and able to remain calm under the pressure of a fast-paced airport environment.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma (A2) or Senior Six Certificate.
- Licensing: Valid Driving License with B, C, and D categories.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience driving trucks.
- Skills: Ability to handle pressure and work extra hours when needed.
- Added Bonus: An Auto Mechanic certificate or experience is a significant advantage.
